A Panchayat is a body of elected representatives formed to manage the administrative affairs of Panchayat Raj Institutions. As far as a Grama Panchayat is concerned, it is the primary committee that implements the decisions of the Grama Sabha and handles day-to-day administration.President: The head of the Panchayat. They preside over meetings and supervise the overall activities of the Panchayat.Vice President: Performs the duties of the President in their absence.Ward Members: Elected representatives from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Sub-committees formed for matters such as finance, development, welfare, health, and education to make decision-making easier.
