Kudallur
Kudallur is a scenic and peaceful riverside village located in Pattambi taluk of Palakkad district of Kerala, India. The village is located at the exact confluence of the Bharathapuzha and Thoothapuzha rivers. The name Kudallur is derived from the words 'Koodal' (confluence) and 'Ur' (place). The village is culturally famous throughout Kerala as the birthplace of the renowned Malayalam writer M. T. Vasudevan Nair, who won the Jnanpith award. He used the local beauty, hills and people of Kudallur as the backdrop for many of his famous novels.
